Description
The small group of guards lay in a clearing, not far from their latest completed mission. Many were quiet or muttering in low voices amongst themselves as they rested their strained muscles and carefully washed the blood from the coats in the small pools that littered the forest.
The only female of this group lay quietly between the ferns, watching a young male, by the edge of the clearing, step out of one of the pools. He half-heartedly shook off some of the water, but was still soaked as he padded past her and sat away from the rest of the group staring off into the forest.
Sao got to her feet and walked up behind the distraught male who turned his head away from her.
"Zack...." she said softly, "You knew what to expect, you are a guard to Lord Caspian, you have no choice but to follow his orders" she paused, stepping closer,
"I know it hurts now...." She paused again, hearing him sniff quietly as he lowered his head, still staring out into the forest for some sort of comfort or reasoning behind the cruel tasks his leader forced them to commit.
She knew he would never cry in front of anyone, especially his guard team, perhaps that's why his fur and mane still dripped with the chilling water, to hide his tears.

Sorry, my writing style always ends up sounding so cheesy, but I do my best to right what I imagine....

Of course I shifted the general idea here around a bit xD
I don't really know what else to say, it's just a rough peace, messing around with things and such :3
Dammit I need to stop making Zack cry x___x
The pretty cougar/tiger girl here is named Sao and is a cameo character belonging to the always awesome =Enaxn and I'm sure most of you know my Zack by now ;D
