If anything i spend too long playing with lighting! xD but to me lighting is what sets the tone of the picture and gives it life c:
It's nice to hear that my images give off a storylike feel since usually everything i draw has a bit of backstory to go with it. ;D
I, too love the little fire he's playing with and I thought the background was just gorgeous! ^^
